While being present in Lithuanian market for already twenty years, UAB "Paspara", the official distributor of SAS Institute, has accumulated an extensive experience in developing complex software solutions. The company has also accomplished a number of data warehousing and analysis projects. A short summary of the main company's development events is presented below. 1990 - UAB "Paspara" was established with the main goal being to provide superior data analysis services. 1991 - UAB "Paspara" was granted SAS Institute distributorship rights. 1995 - New data warehouse development methodology SAS Rapid Data Warehousing Program was introduced. It was one of the first SAS steps towards developing Business Intelligence platform, and thus the first conception presentation in Lithuania. 1996 - SAS solutions were integrated with Internet technologies. 1998 - Consultancy subdivision was established in UAB "Paspara". The company moved to new premises on T.Ševčenkos street. 1999 - The first SAS Institute Forum was held in Lithuania. SAS Forum began as a user conference of SAS Institute and now is an annual Business Intelligence event. 2000 - SAS Rapid Data Warehouse Development and SAS Project Management methodologies are applied as a basis for accomplishing UAB "Paspara" projects. 2002 - UAB "Paspara" was awarded EN ISO 9001:2000 (currently EN ISO 9001:2008) quality certificate. 2003 - UAB "Paspara" and SAS Institute reinforced their relationship with Omnitel by signing a contract for SAS Telecommunication Intelligence Solutions. The system is one of the first among such type solutions in Europe. 2009 - Paspara® Data Integration Toolkit was created as a result of UAB "Paspara" scientific research on data integration tools. The Paspara® Data Integration Toolkit is a set of inter-compatible tools ensuring a fast and effective realization, as well as easy and reliable support of DI solutions. |
